Where We Actually Take Clients to Eat in Lincoln Park

When clients ask me where to eat in Lincoln Park, I usually don’t give them a giant list.

I tell them where we actually go. After living and working in Chicago for years, I have a handful of places I keep returning to, depending on the occasion. Whether I’m meeting clients, celebrating a closing, grabbing something casual or just sending someone somewhere I know they’ll enjoy.

Here are a few of my go-to Lincoln Park spots.

1. Dimmi Dimmi

Why I like it:
The staff, the cocktails, the location, the pizza, the food…nothing short of amazing. Plus I used to live 2 blocks away – fun fact!

I brought one of my celebrity clients who had been wanting to go there. We had such an amazing time. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The staff was so knowledgable and friendly. I also love it because it feels lively without being too formal. It’s a great spot for dinner with clients or friends, and I highly recommend the pizza, the scallops, the chicken parmesan and the beef carpaccio.

2. Butcher and the Burger

Why I like it:
I know the owner and the original chef. I knew that this restaurant would be run with high-quality everything. They have every type of burger imaginable and many healthy options as well.

This is one of those places I recommend when someone wants something that feels very Chicago. It’s comfortable and consistent.

3. Pasta Palazzo

Why I like it:
When I lived in Lincoln Park, I was a regular there. The kids loved the pasta! Delicious food, cooked right in front of you. No nonsense, just fresh ingredients and yummy food.

I like this one for a more relaxed dinner. It’s easy, good for conversation and close to many Lincoln Park streets I show buyers.

4. Summerhouse

Why I like it:
Consistency. Good food over the years. Nice and knowledgeable staff. Great location. Very allergy-friendly, which is sometimes hard to find.

This is one of my favorite places for business lunches and for a quick cookie to go! I have been eating their burgers, the out-of-this world brussel sprouts and Ahi Tuna & Watermelon Tostadas for years. They never dissappoint.

Why This Matters When You’re Buying in Lincoln Park

Restaurants aren’t the reason you buy a home, but they are part of why people love living here.

When I’m showing buyers Lincoln Park, I’m not just thinking about the house or condo. I’m thinking about what their day-to-day life will look like — where they’ll walk, where they’ll grab dinner, where they’ll meet friends and what parts of the neighborhood they’ll actually use. That’s why I like sharing the places I personally go instead of handing someone a generic “best restaurants in Lincoln Park” list.

If you’re thinking about buying in Lincoln Park, I’m always happy to share the spots I love — and probably a few places you won’t find on every online list.
